In the play the grandfather is assumed to be dead and his daughters fight over materialistic possessions and are insensitive...there is no real love between the sisters or for their father when the grandfather finds the truth and realizes about his daughters real emotions , he leaves their to get married and departs . He doesn't die or depart from the world but departs from the house leaving his daughters behind. Hence the title is ironical...........

The villagers helped the tiger hunting by first arranging a very old tiger for shooting who could not even run for a prey.After that they arranged a goat to whom the tiger will come by seeing it.The villagers will also be paid for that work.

Albatross was killed by ancient mariner. Mariner rrgreted for his dishonest act as he felt he has no reasons to kill the albatross .So albatross was killed for no reason
