Patol Babu's first reaction after seeing the dialogue was that he crumples the paper into a ball and throws it into a road side drain. But later he remebered some priceless words of advice given to him by Mr Pakrashi(his mentor) that however small a part you are offered never consider it beneath your dignity to accept it and you as an actor must know how to pluck it and serve it up to the audience for their edification. This is how he reconciles to the dialogue 'oh' given to him. HOPE IT HELPS!!!

Puja Sahoo? 6 years, 10 months ago

At first, Patol Babu is not happy with the one word dialogue given to him. Then he is reminded of the words of his stage mentor, Gogon Pakrashi, that each word spoken in a play is very important. he himself discovers that the word 'oh' carries different shades of meaning. HOPE IT WILL HELP YU.....?

The war had destroyed everything the boys had. They lost their home and their father was killed in the war as well. Until the war they led a cultured and comfortable life. The war had led them to the streets, exposed them to bitter cold and driven them to extreme starvation. However, it did not fill them with despair. They set to build what was left after the war. They found their sister suffering from tuberculosis of the spine, got her admitted to a hospital and worked very hard to pay for her treatment. The boys' sacrifice, their devotion and the maturity they displayed at such a young age promises a new hope for the society. The destruction caused by the war had not broken their spirit. Rather it filled them with a new energy to rebuild from what was left after the war. In this world where values have eroded, these boys and their work make a promise. Their selfless action, devotion to duty, hard work without grumbling, keeping alive their spirit despite adverse circumstances etc. give us promise of a greater hope for society.

This is the different style of appearing.

S.P Singh 6 years, 10 months ago

<font color="blue "> Helen appears in the bits and pieces as she is a ghost or a spirit and she is tired of answering the questions of the confused writers who wanted to write a ghost fiction but didn't get a plot. Helen was also tired answering the questions asked by different people via the Ouija board. She didn't appear entirely and thus appeared in bits and pieces.

Ashwani Yadav 6 years, 10 months ago

Helen was ghost yet she was like simple women there is no such indication of being ghost so Helen appeared in bits and pieces so that Henry the writer could recognise her.

As the ozymandias have written that he is the king of kings but his statue lies in dilapidated state his head is half sunken in sand which shows futility of his power. His power pelf and authority dwindled to nothingness. Time leaves nothing except the good deeds done in lifetime.

Insha Fatima 6 years, 10 months ago

She realised the reality of life and come to accept that, life is an examination and is same for everyone. Happiness is but an occasional affair of life, and that there is no one in the world, who is eternally either happy or sad. All these things were unknown to her, before Buddha made her realise this through his sermon.

<font color="blue"> The poet says that he has something to expiate . By this he means that he is full of remorse and has something to regret in his life. He regrets his silly and wanton act of throwing a log of wood on the harmless snake that had just come to poet's water trough to quench it's bursting thirst . Thus he even blames his bookish knowledge and accursed human education that has told him to kill the venomous snake. Also the poet says that he missed an opportunity to fascinate entertain and host the wonderful guest that had come to his place and the earth brown snake was a wonderful creation of the God
