The Russian Revolution of 1917 centers around two primary events: the February Revolution and the October Revolution. The February Revolution, which removed Tsar Nicholas II from power, developed spontaneously out of a series of increasingly violent demonstrations and riots on the streets of Petrograd (present-day St. Petersburg), during a time when the tsar was away from the capital visiting troops on the World War I front.
The October Revolution (also called the Bolshevik Revolution) overturned the interim provisional government and established the Soviet Union. The October Revolution was a much more deliberate event, orchestrated by a small group of people.

No land is not sustinable divided in palampur

Sonali Aggarwal 7 years, 3 months ago

In Palampur, about one third of the 450 families are landless,i.e.150 families.Of the remaining families who own land,240 families cultivate small plots of land less than 2 hectares in size.Cultivation of such plots doesn't bring adequate income to the farmer family.More than half of the area of the village is covered by plots that are quite large in size,a few of the large farmers have land extending over 10 hectares or more. There are 60 families of medium or large farmerswho cultivate more than 2 hectares of land.

Liberals wanted to safeguard the rights of individuals against government, they argued for a representative, elected parliament government, subject to laws interpreted by a well-trained judiciary that was independent of rulers and officials . they felt men of property should have the right to vote. Radicals wanted a nation in which government was based on the majority of a country's population. Many supported women's suffragette movement.
