Karl Marx’s Theory:

He felt that the industrial society belonged to the capitalists.
Capitalists owned the capital invested in industries, but the profit was produced by workers.
He believed that the condition of workers would never improve, as long as profit is taken by the capitalists.
Marx believed that to free themselves from the capitalists’ exploitation, workers had to form a socialist society where all property was socially controlled.
This would be a communist society.

It is important to use land very carefully because first, this is where our food come from. The agricultural products like crops that sustain us are planted in the soils of our land resources. Second, the land resources provide us with shelter, commerce and affect the country's economy and the standard of living of people.

So for us humans who get our resources from the lands, we should take care of its productivity and fertility. We should not overuse our lands and we should not throw garbage into the soil so as not to poison it.

When rain water falls it causes soil or water erosion. Rainwater sweeps away the topsoil, which exposes the layers beneath it to the natural elements, and increases carbon dioxide release. This is a slow process that develops over time and is not always harmful to ecosystems. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), a rainy day has been defined as a day with rainfall of 2.5 mm or more rainfall. IMD further defines that rainfall for a station is called heavy if it is greater than 650 mm and very heavy if it is greater than 1300 mm.

Bcoz more preference is given to men than women

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

Women are less educated than men because more preference is given to the boys or sons in the family for education as they are considered as future of the family. Traditionally, the girls were expected to stay at home and look after domestic chores. So, education among girls was not encouraged. Because, of the above reasons the women are less educated than men.

The fall of the Jacobin government allowed the wealthier middle class to seize power. Two legislative councils were elected, who then appointed a Directory, an executive made of five members. Directors often clashed with legislative Councils and the latter sought to dismiss them.

Racial discrimination is increasingly recognized as a contributor to increased cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk among African Americans. Previous research has shown significant overlap between racial discrimination and hostility, an established predictor of CVD risk including alterations in adrenergic receptor functioning. The present study examined the associations of racial discrimination and hostility with adrenergic receptor responsiveness.Racism, or discrimination based on race or ethnicity, is also a key contributing factor in the onset of disease. It is also responsible for increasing disparities in physical and mental health among Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC).

Apartheid was a system in which people of South Africa are distinguished on the bases of there color. The native of south Africa were blacks... they were black in colours so they were known as blacks...... the white were small in number but enjoy over blacks...... everything like schools ,colleges, cinema hall, temple, public transport, etc. all were different for blacks and white and blacks were also not allowed to protest against this, they cannot worship were white worship.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

The apartheid system was particularly oppressive for the blacks in the following ways:
(i) The blacks were forbidden from living in white areas. They could work in white areas only if they had a permit.
(ii) Trains, buses, taxis, hotels, hospitals, schools and colleges, libraries, cinema halls, theatres, beaches, swimming pools, public toilets, were all separate for the whites and blacks.
(iii) The blacks could not visit churches where the whites worshipped.
(iv) They could not form associations or protest against the terrible system of apartheid.

(i) Apartheid was the name of a system of racial discrimination imposed on South Africa by the white Europeans. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the trading companies from Europe occupied South Africa with arms and forces.
(ii) Afterwards a large number of 'whites' got settled there and became the local rulers. The system of apartheid divided the people and labelled them on the basis of their skin colour.
(iii) The native people of South Africa are black in colour. There were others who were of mixed races and were called coloured'. People who migrated from India also comprised the non-white population.
(iv) The white ruler treated all non-whites as inferiors. The non-whites did not have voting rights. They were suppressed in a number of ways.

(i) Other forms of governments like monarchy, dictatorship or one-party rule do not require all citizens to take part in politics. In fact, most undemocratic governments would like citizens not to take part in politics.
(ii) But democracy depends on active political participation by all the citizens.
(iii) In a democratic set-up the fate of the country depends not just on what the rulers do, but mainly on what its citizens do.

Pakistan under General Musharraf is not called a democracy because the rulers were not elected by the people.

People might have elected their representatives to the national and provincial assemblies but these elected representatives were not really the rulers. They could not take the final decisions.

The power to take final decisions rested with army officials and with General Musharraf, and none of them were elected by the people.
