Yes it is good to have political competition because election is all about of competition. If there is political competition candidate and party's have to serve something to the voters as they want to make government political competition allows voter to punish the party in next election by not giving it vote to them if they not work good for society . But there are some demerits of it : * Party's and candidate put allegation and use dirty tricks *No long term policies should be formulated . *Good peoples who wanted to serve for country would not enter this arena .
