The displacement of this object is the area of the velocity time graph. ... A horizontal line on a speed-time graph represents a constant speed. A sloping line on a speed-time graph represents an acceleration. The sloping line shows that the speed of the object is changing. The object is either speeding up or slowing down.

In biology, turgid refers to cells or tissues that are swollen from water uptake. Turgidity is the state of being swollen or turgid, especially due to high fluid content. Turgidity is a cellular state in which a plant cell, having absorbed water, is in a state of tension. A turgid plant cell is a plant cell that has been filled with water as a result of osmosis.

Let us consider an object of mass m, moving along a straight line with an initial velocity u. Let us say, after a certain time t, with a constant acceleration, the final velocity becomes v.Here we see that, the initial momentum(P1)=m*u The final momentum (P2)=m*v The change in momentum can be written as (P2-P1)=(m*v)-(m*u)=m(v-u) As we know, the rate of change of momentum with respect to time is proportional to the applied force. The applied force F=m*a.

THE RATE OF CHANGE OF CHANGE OF VELOCITY OF AN OBJECT WITH RESPECT TO TIME IS CALLED ACCELERATION

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 4 months ago

•Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity of an object with respect to time.

•An object's acceleration is the net result of all forces acting on the object, as described by Newton's Second Law.

•The SI unit for acceleration is metre per second squared (m s−²).

SI unit: m/s², m·s−², m s−²

Some animals are colored for physical protection, with pigments in the skin to protect against sunburn, while some frogs can lighten or darken their skin for temperature regulation. Finally, animals can be colored incidentally. For example, blood is red because the heme pigment needed to carry oxygen is red. Animals colored in these ways can have striking natural patterns.

Animals produce color in both direct and indirect ways. Direct production occurs through the presence of visible colored cells known as pigment which are particles of colored material such as freckles. Indirect production occurs by virtue of cells known as chromatophores which are pigment-containing cells such as hair follicles. The distribution of the pigment particles in the chromatophores can change under hormonal or neuronal control. For fishes it has been demonstrated that chromatophores may respond directly to environmental stimuli like visible light, UV-radiation, temperature, pH, chemicals, etc.

Answer:

Here we have,

Distance from point A to B = 300 m

Time taken = 2 minute 30 second = 2 x 60 + 30 s = 150 s

Distance from point B to C = 100 m

Time taken = 1 minute = 60 s

(a)  Average speed and velocity from point A to B

(b)  Average speed and velocity from B to C

Distance1 = 20 m
Time1 = 4 s

Distance2 = 20 m
Time 2 = 10 s

Total Distance(D) = 20m + 20m = 40m
Total Time(T) = 4s + 10s = 14s

Average Speed = Total Distance(D) / Total Time(T) = D/T = 40/14
= 2.857 m/s

The distance covered by a body per unit time is called average speed or speed
Speed = distance/Time
1st case:-
10 m/s for 5 seconds
s = vt
= 10×5
= 50m
2nd case:-
5 m/s for 10 seconds
s = vt
= 5×10
= 50 m
Average velocity = total distance/total time
= 50+50/5+10
= 100/15
= 6.66 m/s

The climate of any place depends on the following factors:

1) Latitude

The amount of solar energy received varies according to latitude due to the curvature of the earth. That’s why air temperature generally decreases from the equator towards the poles.

2) Altitude

The atmosphere becomes less dense and temperature decreases when we go to the higher altitude from the earth surface. This is the reason why hills are cooler during summers.

3) Pressure and wind system

The pressure and wind system of any area depends on the latitude and altitude of the place. It influences the temperature and rainfall pattern.

4) Distance from the sea

The sea exerts a moderating influence on the climate. As the distance from the sea increases, its moderating influence decreases and people experience extreme weather conditions. This condition is known as continentality i.e. very hot during summers and very cold during winters.

Gravity is the force which causes this change in the speed of the ball.

Explanation:

Gravity has the same effect on all objects. If you drop an iron road and a feather, they will fall at the exact same speed. Due to the effect of air resistance on gravity, it might look like the iron rod falls at a greater speed. However, if they were dropped in the vacuum, they would fall at the exact same time. The gravity of an object depends on its size. To be more specific, the Gravity of an object depends on the mass of that object. It is undoubtedly the weakest known force in nature and thus plays no role in determining the internal properties of everyday matter.
