Let the number is x. So its reciprocal = 1/x

It is given that x+1/x= 281/80

x2 +1/x = 281/80

80x2 +80= 281x

80x2 -281x +80=0

80x2 -256 x-25 x+80= 0

16x(5x-16) -5(5x-16) = 0

(16x-5)(5x-16) =0

16x-5 = 0 or 5x-16 =0

x= 5/16 or x = 16/5

Since pqrs is a parallogram PQ = SR And it is given that PQ = QT Therefore SR = QT Let O be thd point of intersection of QR and ST In triangle QOT and ROS QT = RS (proved above ) Angle sro = angle tqo (pt is parallel to sr , so alternative interior angles are equal ) Angle sor = angle qot ( vertically opposite angles ) Therefore triangle QOT is congruent to triangles ROS QO = RO So QR is bisected
