Md Awrangzeb 7 years, 10 months ago

Height (h) of cylinder = 14cm Let the diameter of cylinder be d. Curved Surface Area of Cylinder = 88cm square 2πrh = 88 cm square π dh = 88 cm square. (d = 2r) 22/7 × d × 14 = 88 cm d = 2 cm Therefore,the diameter of the base of the cylinder is 2 cm

Ratio of area of similar triangle is equal to Ratio of square of their corresponding sides. Hence ratio of areas is 1/4, That is if area of original triangle is 1 sq. Unit then area of doubled side triangle will be 4 sq. Unit, Hence increase in area is 3 sq. unit, Hence percent increase is (change/ original )*100= (3/1)*100= 300%, Hence answer is 300%
