Let The Third Side Be xcm.

Now Perimeter = 12+12+x

24+x = 30

x = 6

Now Find The Area Using Herons Formula

Semiperimeter = 30/2 = 15

{tex}Sq Root(15(15-12)(15-12)(15-6) ) = Sq Root(15*3*3*9) = Sq Root(1215) = 34.85 cm^2{/tex}

So Area is {tex}34.85cm^2{/tex}

Const. Draw line he, ef, fg and gh Draw the line hf parallel to ab and de Such that ab is parallel to hf is parallel to de So abfh and defh are the parallelograms Now in parallelogram abfh Trialngle efh and parallelogram abfh are on the same base and between the same parallels. So triangle efh is 1/2 of parallelogram abfh (by mid point theo.)........~1 Similarly, area of triangle gfh= 1/2 area parallelogram edhf (mid point theo.)........~2 Now adding eqn.1 and 2 we get, Area ofParallelogram efgh=1/2 area of parallelogram abcd

Adarsh Singh 4 years, 11 months ago

Rational Number is a number that can be written in form of p/q where q is not equal to 0.

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 11 months ago

A rational number, in Mathematics, can be defined as any number which can be represented in the form of p/q where q is greater than 0. Also, we can say that any fraction fit under the category of rational numbers, where denominator and numerator are integers and the denominator is not equal to zero.

Meenal Sinha 4 years, 11 months ago

The numbers of the form p/q, where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0, are known as rational numbers.
