Ok I will tell you how to represent √9.5 on number line Step 1- Draw a line AB of length 9.5 cm Step 2 - Mark a point C on the line such that BC =1 unit Step 3- Find the mid point of AC. This can be done by making arcs as first yo hold a compass with pencil .Now from point A open the compass to a length that you think is more than the half of AC . Mark two arcs one upward an one downward. Do the same by taking point C ( towards point A) you will see that the arcs intersects on certain points let be P&Q .Now join P&Q you will get the mid point of AB. Taking O as the mid point now place the compass end on point O and pencil on A Now you have just rotate your hands and arc will be there to point C. Step 4- Now from point B using scale and pencil you have to mark straight line above such that this line intersects the semi circle arc .Let say that it intersects on point D Step 5- Now using compass taking one end at point B and one at point D make an arc to right side till it intersects the line . So length of BE is that length which represents the desired reults i.e.√9.5

Solution:  x + 1
Apply remainder theorem
=>x + 1 =0
=> x = - 1
Replace x by – 1 we get
=>x3+3x2 + 3x + 1
=>(-1)3 + 3(-1)2 + 3(-1) + 1
=> -1 + 3 - 3 + 1
=> 0
Remainder is 0

Rational Number is defined as the number which can be written in a ratio of two integers. An irrational number is a number which cannot be expressed in a ratio of two integers.

Rational numbers
The rational numbers are numbers which can be expressed as a fraction and also as positive numbers, negative numbers and zero. It can be written as p/q, where q is not equal to zero.

Rational word is derived from the word ‘ratio’, which actually means a comparison of two or more values or integer numbers and is known as a fraction. In simple words, it is the ratio of two integers.

Example: 3/2 is a rational number. It means integer 3 is divided by another integer 2.
Irrational numbers

The numbers which are not a rational number are called irrational numbers. Now, let us elaborate, irrational numbers could be written in decimals but not in fractions which means it cannot be written as the ratio of two integers.

Irrational numbers have endless non-repeating digits after the decimal point. Below is the example of the irrational number:

Example: √8=2.828…

Here,

Mass of man, m = 75 kg

Man is moving with a uniform velocity, v = 2m/s

Momentum,  p = mv

                       = 75 kg x 2m/s

                       = 150 kg m/s.
