Height (h) = 12 cm
Slant height (l) = 13 cm

Let r be the radius of the conical vessel.

Slant height (l)²= r²+h²

 r = √ r² - h²

r = √13²– 12²

= √169 – 144

 r = √25
r = 5 cm

Volume of the cone = 1/3 πr²h

= (1/3 × 22/7 × 5 × 5 × 12)
= (2200/7) cm³

Capacity of the vessel = (2200/7× 1000) L

= 11/35 l

Capacity of the vessel =11/35 L

We know the subdivisions between 8 and 9 are 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, 8.9. You can take any 5 among these as these all are rational number, i.e., in the form of p/q where q≠0, like, 8.1=81/10 8.2=82/10.. and so on.. ThankYou

Total number of observation i.e n = 10

Given, median = 63

=> (5th value of observation + 6th value of observation)/2 = 63

[if number of observation is even then median = mean of (n/2)th value of observation + {(n/2) + 1}th value

of observation]

=> (x + x + 2)/2 = 63

=> (2x + 2)/2 = 63

=> 2x + 2 = 63*2

=> 2x + 2 = 126

=> 2x = 126-2

=> 2x = 124

=> x = 124/2

=> x = 62

Hence, the value of x is 62

x = 3+ √8

x = (3+√8)(3-√8) / (3-√8)

x = (9 -8) / (3-√8)

x = 1/ (3 -√8)

Or we can write 1/x = (3-√8)

Put the value and find out

x² +(1/x²) = x² + (1/x)²

So x² + 1/ x² = (3 +√8)² + (3 -√8)²

= 9+6√8+8 + 9–6√8+8

= 34.

First method to find rational number between two numbers:
Since we have to find 5 rational numbers between 3/5 and 4/5, so we will mutiply the numerator and denominator of the given numbers by 5+1, i.e. equal to 6.
We get,

3/5=3×6/5×6=18/30 and 4/5=4×6 / 5×6=24/ 30

Now, we have to find 5 rational numbers between 18/30 and 24/30, which will come as

(19/30),(20/30),(21/30),(22/30),(23/30)

=(19/3),(2×10 / 3×10),(7×3 / 10×3),(11×2 / 15×2),(23/ 30)

=(19/30),(2/3),(7/10),(11/15)

Thus, five rational numbers between 3/5 and 4/5 are =(19/30),(2/3),(7/10),(11/15) and (23/30)

Given ΔABC, extend BA to D such that AD = AC.
Now in ΔDBC
∠ADC = ∠ACD [Angles opposite to equal sides are equal]
Hence ∠BCD > ∠ BDC
That is BD > BC [The side opposite to the larger (greater) angle is longer]
Þ AB + AD > BC
∴ AB + AC > BC [Since AD = AC)
Thus sum of two sides of a triangle is always greater than third side.
