Probability is simply how likely something is to happen. Whenever we're unsure about the outcome of an event, we can talk about the probabilities of certain outcomes—how likely they are.

Consider a △ABC,such that ∠BAC=130 ∘ and bisectors of ∠B and ∠C meet at O. To find: ∠BOC Now, in △ABC, ∠BAC+∠ABC+∠ACB=180 130+∠ABC+∠ACB=180 (Angle sum property) ∠ABC+∠ACB=50 2 1  (∠ABC+∠ACB)=25 ∠OBC+∠OCB=25 (OB and OC bisect ∠ABC and ∠ACB) Now, in △OBC, ∠OBC+∠OCB+∠BOC=180 25+∠BOC=180 ∠BOC=155 ∘ .

(x+y)2 = x- 2xy + y2

= x+ 2xy + y- 4xy

= (x+y)- 4xy

= 52 - 4 × 4

= 25 - 16 = 9

∴ x - y = √9

= 3

Given, a river 3 m deep and 40 m wide is flowing at the rate of 2 km per hour.

Area of cross section of the river =3 × 40=120m

Now, volume of water flowing through this cross section in every minute = Area * rate

                                                                                                 = 120 × 2 km/hr

                                                                                                 = 120 ×(2000/60) m/min

                                                                                                 = 2 × 2000

                                                                                                  = 4000m3

Since1m=1000 litres

So, 4000m=4000 × 1000 litres =4000000 litres

So, in 1 minute, water will fall into the sea is 4000000 litres.

Given, lateral surface area of a cube = 100 m2
We know that, lateral surface area of a cube = 4 x (Side)2
⇒ 100 = 4 x (Side)2
⇒ (Side)2 = 100/4 = 25
⇒ Side = √25 = 5 m
[taking positive square root because side is always a positive quantity]
Now, volume of a cube = (Side)3 = (5)= 5 x 5 x 5 = 125 m3
Hence, the volume of the cube is 125 m3.

14x + y = 9

1) if x =1

14(1) + y = 9

y = 9 - 14
y = -5

2) If x = 0

14(0) + y = 9

y = 9
3) if x = -1

14(-1) + y = 9

y = 9 + 14
y = 15

4) If x = 2

14(1) + y = 9
14(2) +  y = 9
y = 9 - 28
y = -19

Given : A triangle ABC. To prove : ∠A+∠B+∠C=180 o ⟹∠1+∠2+∠3=180 o Construction : Through A, draw a line l parallel to BC. Proof : Since l∥BC. Therefore, ∠2=∠4 .......eq(i) And, ∠3=∠5......eq(ii) adding eq(i)and(ii) Therefore, ∠2+∠3=∠4+∠5 ∠1+∠2+∠3=∠1+∠4+∠5 [adding∠1bothSide] ∠1+∠2+∠3=180 o Thus, the sum of three angles of a triangle is 180 o . solution

A pie chart (or a circle chart) is a circular statistical graphic, which is divided into slices to illustrate numerical proportion. In a pie chart, the arc length of each slice (and consequently its central angle and area), is proportional to the quantity it represents.
