It will not have displacement because direction is not fixed

Ashutosh Padhy 4 years, 9 months ago

When a body moves in one particular direction, i.e., along a straight line, magnitude of displacement equals the distance.

Trisha Verma 4 years, 9 months ago

The magnitude of displacement will be equal to distance if the body is moving in a specific direction.

Here we will tin-plate the inside of the hemisphere So, We need to find the curved surface area of hemisphere
Radius of hemisphere = r = /2 = (10.5/2) cm = 5.25 cm
Curved surface area of the hemisphere = 22 = (2×22/7×5.25×5.25) cm2 = 173.25 cm2
Cost of tin-plating 100 cm2 = Rs 16
Cost of tin-plating 1 cm2 = Rs 1/100 × 16
Cost of tin-plating 173.25 cm2 = Rs 1/100 × 16 × 173.25 = Rs 27.72
∴ Cost of tin-plating the hemisphere is Rs 27.72

False, √2/3 is an Irrational number because the numerator i.e., √2 is an Irrational number as we cannot define it in Whole numbers (=> 1.4142... which is non-terminating non-recurring) & 3 is a Rational number . But, we know the property that, if an Rational number is divided by an Irrational number we may get an Irrational number...

Tanishk Jain 4 years, 9 months ago

root 2/3 is irrational number. the value of root 2 and root 3 non recurresive and non termination number therefor root 2/3 is irrational number.

Here, 3/5 < 7/8. So, let y = 7/8, x = 3/5 & n = 3 Since, d = y - x ÷ n + 1 •7/8 - 3/5 ÷ 3 + 1 => 35-24/40 ÷ 4 => 11/40 ÷4 => 11/160. Now, three rational numbers : •(x+d), (x+2d), (x+3d) => (3/5 + 11/160), (3/5 + 12/160), (3/5 + 13/160) => (96+11/160), (96+12/160), (96+13/160) => 107/160, 108/160, 109/160.

Sia ? 4 years, 9 months ago

We first convert 3/5 and 7/8 into rational no. with same denominator.
{tex}\Rightarrow {/tex} 3/5 = 3×8/5×8
{tex}\Rightarrow {/tex} 24/40
{tex}\Rightarrow {/tex} 7/8= 7×5/8×5
{tex}\Rightarrow {/tex} 35/40.
{tex}\therefore{/tex} Thus, Three Rational numbers- 24/40, 25/40, 26/40. or. 35/40, 34/30, 33/40.
Except these, Infinite no. of rational numbers can be found, If we have converted the no.s to the Denominator.

Rationalization is an attempt to logically justify immoral, deviant, or generally unacceptable behavior. In Freud's classic psychoanalytic theory, rationalization is a defense mechanism, an unconscious attempt to avoid addressing the underlying reasons for a behavior.
Most of us engage in rationalization on a semi-regular basis. A person might account for a bad mood or general rude behavior by explaining that bad traffic affected the morning commute, for example. Someone who is passed over for a promotion might rationalize the disappointment by claiming to not have wanted so much responsibility after all.

Irrigation is the process of applying water to the crops artificially to fulfil their water requirements. Nutrients may also be provided to the crops through irrigation. The various sources of water for irrigation are wells, ponds, lakes, canals, tube-wells and even dams. Irrigation offers moisture required for growth and development, germination and other related functions.

Girdhar Arora 4 years, 9 months ago

I think u are saying irrational not irrigation as irrigation is not a number ? Irrational are a type of real number which can't be represented in p/q form where q is not =to 0 and it's decimal expansion is non -terminating and non-recurring(repeating .)
