Kezia's grandmother encouraged her to get to know her father better by sending her to the drawing room to talk to her parents on Sundays. She also suggested Kezia to make a pin cushion out of a beautiful piece of yellow silk as a gift for her father's birthday.

Einstein's mother thought him to be a 'freak' or someone with an unusual physical abnormality or behavioural problem. She thought of him as a freak because his head seemed too large to her. This made him look different from the other children of his age. Einstein showed no early signs of his genius one day.

“Packing” is based on the theme that routine tasks are not as easy as they seem to be. The humorous account amuses the readers with the chaotic and confusing situations created by the clumsiness of three friends, all of whom consider packing to be child's play.

As the title itself suggests, the writer Jerome K Jerome has knitted the chapter well around the theme of packing. The writer has just tried to entertain the readers with the humourous packing of the three friends. It even happens with people around us that they can't do packing. The writer has conveyed the same thing through this chapter which is an extract from the novel- Three men in boat

When kezia was told to sleep alone , the same nightmare came and she woked up screaming , her father came into her room and caught her in his arms and carried her to his bedroom , he layed down beside her , then she came to know that his father is not as big as she used to think , her all fears were vanished from her mind about her father and she realised that she began to see her father as a human being who needs her sympathy.

Kezia compared her father with Mr. Macdonald, who lived next to her house. He was always smiling and playing with his children. He was just opposite to the Kezia's father. Unlike Kezia's father he never punished his children. He played with them whenever he was free. Whereas Kezia's father was very harsh and a strict disciplinarian. Seeing him, Kezia could understand that there were different sorts of father.

Kezia was scared of her father as he looked like a giant. Every morning he used to give her a good bye kiss. She used to feel uncomfortable till her father was at home. She even stammered while answering him. He scolded her one day and even beat her for tearing some of his important papers.
But when Kezia used to cry during the night, he would carry her to his room. She then realized that her father was actually tender and affectionate and this changed her perception towards him.

Kezia's father punished her because she took her father's important papers & tear them into small pieces as she donot took permission of her father before tooking it. The punishment was deserved as with the punishment given to her she had not have to do this type of mistakes again, this punishment was not deserved because her father also have to taught a lesson to her with love instead of punishment.

A loud noise was heard by us (in the middle of the night).
To change the sentence from active to passive, the subject is made to act upon by the verb. This is the only way to change any active speech into passive and hence the answer will be the one mentioned above.
