It was formed by the decomposition of the remains of tiny plants and animals buried under the sea millions of year ago.It is believed that millions of years ago,the tiny plants and animals which lived in sea,died.Their dead bodies sank to the bottom of sea and were soon covered with mud and sand.Due to high pressure,heat,action of bacteria,and in the absence of air,the dead remains of tiny plants and animals were slowly converted into petroleum.The petroleum thus formed got trapped between two layers of impervious rocks,forming oil deposit.

- ‘ध्वनि’ शब्द का शाब्दिक अर्थ है आवाज, मधुर संगीतमय आवाज।
- “ध्वनि” कविता ‘सूर्यकांत त्रिपाठी निराला’ द्वारा रचित कविता है। इस कविता में कवि ने वसंत ऋतु की सुंदरता का वर्णन किया है। वसंत ऋतु के आरंभ एक सुखद वातावरण बन जाता है। उस वातावरण की विशेषता का वर्णन इस कविता के माध्यम से किया गया है।
- कवि ने इस कविता का शीर्षक ‘ध्वनि’ इसलिये रखा होगा क्योंकि मधुर व सुखद वसंत ऋतु में एक संगीतमय वातावरण उत्पन्न हो जाता है। वसंत ऋतु में चारों तरफ खुशनुमा वातावरण बन जाता है और पूरे वातावरण में एक मधुर संगीत गुंजायमान होने का अनुभव होता है। चूंकि कवि ने इस कविता में वसंत ऋतु का ही वर्णन किया है इस कारण कवि ने इस कविता का शीर्षक ‘ध्वनि’ रखा होगा।

Deforestation refers to the removal of forest cover where the land is thereafter converted to a non-forest use. The loss of the forest cover results change in the climatic condition and also affects the biodiversity which in turn threatens the life of the people. Deforestation comes in many forms, including forest fires, ranching and development, unsustainable logging for timber, clear-cutting for agriculture, and degradation due to climate change. Some 46 to 58 thousand square miles of forest are lost each year due to deforestation.

Plants are the main agent to maintain the water cycle in the environment. So cutting of trees reduces the rainfall of that area. If plants will not absorb water from soil they will not evaporate in the environment to form clouds. If clouds will not be formed then no rain-fall takes place. In this way deforestation reduces rainfall.

The objects having streamlined shapes face less friction when moving through a fluid than the objects which do not have streamlined shapes.
The fluid friction can be reduced by giving special shape called streamlined shape to the objects which move through the fluids. Cars are built with streamlined shape to reduce air resistance caused by air. An aeroplane has a streamlined shape to reduce air friction that it encounters when flying at high speed through the sky. The rockets are also built with streamlined shapes so that they encounter the minimum air resistance.
