These essential transportation fuels typically account for 75 percent of output. Refining is the process of reducing the impurities in a substance.

( 101 ) 2 = ( 100 + 1 )2
Now, a = 100 and b = 1
Therefore,
( 101 )2 = ( 100 )2 + ( 1 )2 + 2 * 100 * 1
( 101 )2 = 10000 + 1 + 200
(101)2 = 10,201

We have,
(399)2 = (400 - 1)2
= (400)2 + (1)2 - 2 {tex}\times{/tex} 400 {tex}\times{/tex} 1 [{tex}\because{/tex} (a - b)2 = a2 + b2 - 2ab]
= 160000 + 1 - 800
= 160001 - 800
= 159201

Fossil fuels are the major source of energy and are widely used for all daily-life purposes. But the over-use of these resources might lead to many social and health problems.
• The combustion of fossil fuels emits a lot of toxic gas which is in appropriate for living conditions. These toxic gases are released in the air, causing air pollution.
• This is not only degrading for the environment but also for health. Regular consumption of such toxic gases might cause serious respiratory problems and other life-threatening diseases.
• Fossil fuels are non-renewable source of energy which means that they cannot be made available within a few months or years or even decades.
The formation of fossil fuels takes hundreds of years but due to global warming and high consumption the fossil fuels are also depleting fast.

During British rule, the people of India were made to obey laws they had no role in the making of. People did not agree with the decisions imposed on them and lived in fear of the British Government. As they fought for independence, they were inspired by the ideals of freedom, equality and participation. They wanted to have a say in the government and its decision-making. With independence from British rule, it was now up to the people of India to decide their destiny. It is important to let the people decide because the actions and decisions of the government affect the people of the country directly. They have every right to decide on matters which affect them.

In a democracy, the government is formed after elections. After the elections, a list is prepared which indicates the winner of each Lok Sabha seat. These winners become the Members of Parliament (MPs). The political party with the majority of these MPs forms the government. Since there are 543 seats in Lok Sabha, a party must secure at least half i.e. 272 seats in Parliament to form a government. Sometimes, no single political party is able to win 272 seats on its own and get the majority to form the government. In that situation, two or more political parties with similar concerns join together to get the majority and form a Coalition Government.

The force exerted by an electrically charged object is called electrostatic force. An electrically charged object can exert an electrostatic force on an uncharged object. For example – a plastic comb which is electrically charged by rubbing in dry hair, exerts an electrostatic force on uncharged tiny pieces of paper and attracts them.
