Sodium is kept in kerosene while phosphorus is store in water bacause sodium reacts with water and phosphorus do not react with water

Sodium reacts vigorously with oxygen and water at room temperature and gives out more amount of heat, the kerosene layer acts as a shield in between the metal and the atmospheric oxygen. Phosphorous also very reactive and burns in air but does not form water or react with water, hence it is stored under water

There are two or more levels of government.

1. Different tiers of government govern the same citizens, but each tier has its own jurisdiction in specific matters of legislation, taxation and administration.

2. The jurisdictions of the respective levels or tiers of government are specified in the constitution.
