When certain objects are rubbed against another object, electrons may get transferred from one object to another. If an object loses some electron, it is left with surplus number of protons. Thus, this object becomes positively charged. If an object gains electrons, it now has surplus number of electrons. Thus, this object becomes negatively charged.

Two reasons in support of the statement “Muslims are a marginalized community”:
firstly, the Muslim community has not been able to gain from the country’s socio-economic development as statistics on basic amenities, literacy rate and public employment show. 63.6% Muslims live in kutcha houses as compared to only 55.2% Hindus; the literacy rate amongst Muslims was the lowest at 59% in a 2001 survey.
Secondly, their customs are distinct from other religious communities, so much so that they are identified as separate from the “rest of us” leading to unfair treatment and discrimination against Muslims.

To address the adverse living conditions of many tribal families living in forests was on account of non-recognition and vesting of pre-existing rights, a landmark legislation viz. Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006, has been enacted to recognize and vest the forest rights and occupation of forest land in forest dwelling Scheduled Tribes and other traditional forest dwellers, who have been residing in such forests for generations, but whose rights could not be recorded.

A shape or a figure that has a length and a breadth only is a 2D shape Example: triangle, rectangle, circle
In our day to day life, we see several objects like books, ball, ice-cream cone etc, around us which have different shapes. One thing common to most of these objects is that they all have some length, breadth and height or depth. Therefore they all occupy space and have three dimensions.

One major advantage of printed communication is that it provides a lasting record of the messages sent for future reference. This form of communication allows the recipient to spend plenty of time to review the message and provide a suitable feedback. Written communication is more specific and clear.

About 2500 years ago, a Greek scientist called Thales observed that when a material known as amber was rubbed with a silk cloth, it started attracting tiny feathers. Thales said that amber acquires electric charge on rubbing with silk. In 1752 Benjamin Franklin, an American scientist, showed that lightning and the spark from our clothes are essentially the same phenomena.
