To find the valency of an element, it is absolute that we must know the atomic number of that element.

For example, for the element Carbon
the atomic number is 6
Convert into electronic configuration:. 2, 4

Consider the final shell alone. Here 4 so Subtract 4 from 8
the answer is 4.

Thus, the Valency is 4

For elements with valence electrons 4 and <n4 the Valency is the valence number itself. For example Lithium the valence shell is 1. So Valency is 1️
For elements with valence electrons >4, subtract it from number 8. For example Fluorine  the Valency is 2,7 and the valence shell numner is 7. Subtracting from 8 we get 1. so Valency is 1

For elements in the Oxygen group, it is not the same. For example Oxygen has 2,6 . But the valence can be 6 or 2 according to the situation.

The reason is obvious: sunlight contains energy, and in near-Earth space, there is no atmosphere to filter that energy, so it's even more intense than it is down here. ... The air picks up some of that warmth and rises, and the resulting current wicks heat away. In space, none of that can happen

Soil is a non-renewable resource. Its preservation is essential for food security and our sustainable future. Soil is a finite resource, meaning its loss and degradation is not recoverable within a human lifespan. ... It is therefore a highly valuable natural resource. Soil can be conserved through contour plowing, conservation plowing and crop rotation.

Perimeter of square = 4 (side)

100 = 4(side)

side = 100/4 = 25 cm

Area of square = (side)2 = (25)2 = 625 sq. cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l +b)

100 = 2 (l +b)

l + b = 100/2 = 50

The earliest known form of printing as applied to paper was woodblock printing, which appeared in China before 220 AD. Later developments in printing technology include the movable type invented by Bi Sheng around 1040 AD and the printing press invented by Johannes Gutenberg in the 15th century. The art of printing first entered India through Goa. In a letter to St. Ignatius of Loyola, dated 30 April 1556, Father Gasper Caleza speaks of a ship carrying a printing press setting sail for Abyssinia from Portugal, with the purpose of helping missionary work in Abyssinia.

Plastic is non-biodegradable.So the articles made of plastics do not rot when they are thrown away after use.The waste plastic articles keeps on accumulating in the surrounding and pollute the environment.

The waste plastic articles thrown here and there carelessly get into dirty water drains and sewers,and clog them.This makes the dirty drain water to flow over the streets and roads causing unhygienic conditions.

Microbes are also used to prepare antibiotics, which are used to treat several bacterial infections. Antibiotics are chemical substances that kill disease-causing microbes. It is quite interesting to find that there are some microbes which cause diseases; on the other hand, some other microbes help in preparation of antibiotics, and thus, cure diseases.

The rational numbers include all the integers, plus all fractions, or terminating decimals and repeating decimals. Every rational number can be written as a fraction a/b, where a and b are integers. If a number is an integer, it must also be a rational.
