* Good quality *resistant to disease Because choosing these seeds will control the loss of crops crops As if we will use defective seeds crops would not be of good quality

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 6 months ago

We should use normal seeds not hyv because hyv seeds need lot of water and lot of chemical fertilisers and also degrade soil fertility and also contaminate ground water
They also need lot of chemical pesticides and herbicides
Beside they also need modern equipments of farming which r very high in cost

Land classification refers to land categories, reflecting quality classes, capability classes or grade, depending upon the characteristics of the land and/or its potential for agricultural use. The different types of land are known as biomes. These are divided into four classifications: desert, forest, grassland and tundra. Land biomes are typically defined by the type of vegetation they possess, the types of animals that inhabit them and their climate, such as rainfall and temperature.

The Subsidiary Alliance system was used by Lord Wellesley, who was Governor-General of India from 1798-1805, to build an empire in India.
Under the system, the allying Indian state's ruler was compelled to accept the permanent stationing of a British force within his territory and to pay a subsidy for its maintenance.
Also, the Indian ruler had to agree to the posting of a British Resident in his court.
Under the Subsidiary Treaty, the Indian ruler could not employ any European in his service without the prior approval of the British. Nor could he negotiate with any other Indian ruler without consulting the Governor-General.

Types of plastics: Plastics are of two types – thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics.

  1. Thermoplastics – Thermoplastics get soft when heated and hard again when they are cooled.  Example – polythene and poly vinyl chloride. Such plastics are used in making toys, containers, plastic bags, raincoats and combs. Thermoplastics are used in making those articles which do not get too hot, and are flexible.
  2. Thermosetting plastics – Thermosetting plastics get soft only one, the first time they are heated after being made. When such plastics are heated for the first time, they become soft and can be moulded to make an article of any desired shape. On cooling, the article becomes hard and rigid. Example – Bakelite and melamine. They are used in making handles of cooking utensils, plates, cups, floor tiles, electrical fittings, telephone instruments, etc.

In mathematics, a rational number is a number that can be written as a fraction. Rational numbers are all real numbers, and can be positive or negative. A number that is not rational is called irrational. Most of the numbers that people use in everyday life are rational. These include fractions and integers. A rational number is a number that can be written as a ratio. That means it can be written as a fraction, in which both the numerator (the number on top) and the denominator (the number on the bottom) are whole numbers. The number 8 is a rational number because it can be written as the fraction 8/1.
