Hans Wolf was a musician playing cello in an orchestra and Jim Macpherson was a school teacher. During early 20th century it was common for people to get enrolled into army during wars. Even today certain countries, like Israel, make it mandatory for all adults to serve in military for a certain period.

Dates help us in finding out how things were in the past, and how things change over time.
Earlier, history was an account of battles and big events, such as:
- the year some king was crowned
- the year he was married and had a child
- the year he fought a particular war or battle
- the year he died
- the year the next ruler succeeded to the throne
- We choose to write history around some dates, and then those dates become important. This happens because people focus on some major events (wars, for example) that they believe are important. But with time, a new set of events might come into focus, and new dates become important.
- Also, histories written by and about British Governor Generals do not give us a correct picture of the status and everyday activities of ordinary Indians. So history is actually very different for different people.

10pq = 5 × 2 × p × q
20qr = 5 × 2 × 2 × q × r
30rp = 5 × 3 × 2 × p × r
Common factor = 5 × 2 = 10

A linear equation is an algebraic equation in which each term is either a constant or the product of a constant and a variable. This variable is always single power form. A simple example of a linear equation with only one variable, x, may be written in the form: ax + b = 0, where a and b are constants and a ≠ 0.
These equations are called Linear Equations in one variable. Examples:
- 2x
- 5/4 (x-4)
- 3y-7
- x2 + 1 is an non-linear as the variable has power more than 1.
- 5xy + 10 is not a linear equation in one variable as there are two variables

The metals placed above hydrogen in the series can displace it from acids such as HCl and H2SO4 (since they are more reactive).
Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago
Reactivity series is the series of metals based on their reactivity from highest to lowest. So, reactivity series of metals can be defined as a series of metals, in order of reactivity from highest to lowest. It is also known as activity series. The reactivity of metals is because of their incomplete outer orbitals or due to their electronic configuration. Metals form positively charged ions as they tend to lose electrons. Metals with high atomic numbers tend to be more reactive as their electrons are far from the positively charged nucleus. So, they can be removed easily.
Reactivity series of metals is given below -

Yes, the Government can intervene if some religious group says that their religion allows them to practice infanticide. This is because the Indian Constitution clearly states that the Government has the right to intervene if there is a threat to social harmony. Also, killing an infant is a crime and the judiciary is the only authority that can punish a person to death and no other religion or person can commit the crime of killing someone.

Yes, the Government will definitely intervene if some religious group says that their religion allows them to practice infanticide. Infanticide involves the killing of an infant (a small child) which is clearly a cruel crime

Secularism refers to the separation of religion from the state. It means that the state should not discriminate among its citizens on the basis of religion. It should neither encourage nor discourage the followers of any religion.

A Rational Number can be made by dividing two integers. (An integer is a number with no fractional part.)
If a number is expressed in the form of p/q then it is a rational number. Here p and q are integers, and q is not equal to 0. A rational number should have a numerator and denominator. Examples: 10/2, 30/3
