Following are the terms used in Probability.
- Random experiment - An experiment which can result in a set of possible outcomes. An outcome is the result of the experiment. Example, bowler bowling a ball in cricket. It can result in batsman hitting it, wicket, no-ball, wide etc.

- Event - Each outcome of an event or a collection of outcomes make an event. Example, tossing of coin results in getting a Head which is an event. Getting a tail is also an event.
- Equally likely outcomes - When the probability of all the outcomes in a random experiment is almost equal. Example, tossing of coin. It can either result in heads or tails, so the two outcomes are equally likely.

The British had come to India as traders. They were looking for profitable trading opportunities. Hence, they introduced the cultivation of cash crops like opium, tea and indigo as they could make large profits by trading these crops.
For example, indigo was exported to Europe to manufacture indigo dye which was used in the textile factories of Europe. Opium was exported to China in return for tea. Sugar was exported to Europe for use as a sweetener.

Let the adjacent angles of a parallelogram be x and 8c.
Then, we have x + (3 x) = 180° [adjacent angles of parallelogram are supplementary]
=> 4 x = 180°
=> x = 45°
Thus, the angles are 45°, 135°.
Hence, the angles are 45°, 135, 45°, 135°. [ opposite angles in a parallelogram are equal]

G i v e n : 3 x+ 2 / 2x - 3 = - 3 / 4
12 x + 8 = - 6 x + 9
12 x + 6 x = 9 - 8
18 x = 1
So,
x = 1 / 18
