Lubricated friction is a case of fluid friction where a lubricant fluid separates two solid surfaces. Lubrication helps fill in the uneven zig zag surface, tries to make it smoother in order to allow smooth relative motion between the surfaces, thereby reducing friction. Lubrication reduces the heat generated when two surfaces are in motion. It smoothes the process by forming a film between two surfaces that reduces friction and thus improves performance and efficiency. There are different variety of lubricants and oils available such as Engine Oil, Hydraulic Oil, and Greases.

Hi Student.
Let's start by assuming the total monthly salary be 100x.
According to the question, the man saves 18% of his monthly income, that means every month he saves 18x.
In the question, 18x = 3780
we just need to find the value of 100x.
x=3780/18
x= 210
If x=210 then 100x= 100*210= 21,000.
Hope this helps!!
Good Luck :D

Hi Student,
We can easily solve this by assuming the father's age as X and son's age as Y.
According to the first statement we can form this equation.
(x-5)+2y=65.......(1)
and from the second statement we can form this equation.
3x+(y-5)=130.......(2)
By solving the above equations we will have the values of X = 40 and Y = 10 .
Please let me know if you need any help regarding any of the steps.
Feel free to comment.
Thanks!!
Good luck :D

The term ‘adivasi’ literally means ‘original inhabitants’ – are communities who lived, and often continue to live, in close association with forests. Around 8 per cent of India’s population is Adivasi and many of India’s most important mining and industrial centres are located in Adivasi areas. Adivasis are not a homogeneous population: there are over 500 different Adivasi groups in India. Adivasi societies are also most distinctive because there is often very little hierarchy among them. This makes them radically different from communities organised around principles of jati-varna (caste) or those that were ruled by kings.

By using compound interest formula
P = Rs. 8000
R = 9% p.a. {tex} = \frac{9}{2}\% {/tex} per half year
n = 1 year = 1 × 2 half years
= 2 half years
{tex}\therefore A = P{\left( {1 + \frac{R}{{100}}} \right)^n} = 8000{\left( {1 + \frac{9}{{2 \times 100}}} \right)^2}{/tex}
{tex} = 8000{\left( {1 + \frac{9}{{200}}} \right)^2} = 8000{\left( {\frac{{209}}{{200}}} \right)^2}{/tex}
{tex} = 8000 \times \frac{{209}}{{200}} \times \frac{{209}}{{200}}{/tex}
= Rs. 8736.20
{tex}\therefore {/tex} C.I. = A – P
= Rs. 8736.20 – Rs. 8000
= Rs. 736.20.
