- The moderates were the early Congress men who led the Indian National Congress from 1885 to 1905 when the partition of Bengal took place.
- Some of the ‘Moderate’ leaders were Dadabhai Naoroji, Pherozeshah Mehta, Badruddin Tyabji, W.C. Bonnerji, Surendranath Banerji, Romesh Chandra Dutt and S. Subramania Iyer.
- They were aware of the might of the British rule in India and wanted to protect the youth of India from the batons and guns of British.
- They resorted to peaceful means and moderate methods of appeasement like petitioning, publishing pamphlets, taking out processions etc.
- They published newspapers, wrote articles, and showed how British rule was leading to the economic ruin of the country.
- They criticised British rule in their speeches and sent representatives to different parts of the country to mobilise public opinion.

Adding (1) and (2) we get
3x-2x-2y+3y=5+3
or x+y=8

A buffer solution is one which resists changes in pH when small quantities of an acid or an alkali are added to it. Acidic buffer solutions. Let the common multiple is x
Then angle of quadrilateral are 2x, 3x, 6x and 7x
Sum of angles of quadrilateral = 360°
2x + 3x + 6x + 7x = 360°
18x = 360°
x = 360/18
x = 20°
Angles 2(20) = 40°
3x = 3(20) = 60°
6x = 6(20) = 120°
7x = 7(20) = 140°
