वर्तमान में अनुशासन का स्तर काफी गिर गया है । अनुशासनहीनता के अनेक कारण हैं । बढ़ती हुई प्रतिस्पर्धा के दौर में आज लोग बहुत ही व्यस्त जीवन व्यतीत कर रहे हैं जिससे माता-पिता अपनी संतान को वांछित समय नहीं दे पाते हैं । इसी कारण बच्चों में असंतोष बढ़ता है जिससे अनुशासनहीनता उनमें जल्दी घर कर जाती है ।
