'Battle of Buxar' was fought on '23 October 1764' between 'British East India Company' and various Mughal emperors. The British army was led by Hectro Munro and the Mughal army was led by Nawab of Awadh, Qasim Khan and Mughal emperor, "Shah Alam".
The battle was fought in Buxar, which is a territory of Bengal. It is situated on the banks of Ganga River. It was a decisive land for the Britishers. Mughal forces outnumbered the British forces.
Mughal army has over 40000 men while Britishers were only 10000. Due to the lack of coordination between the Mughal emperors they lost the battle severely even after having such a huge army.

The main causes of the War were political, social, economical, military and religious. It was an extreme effort made by Indians, but they failed due to certain reasons including mutual jealousies, disunity, and lack of central leadership etc. The Indian Rebellion of 1857 had diverse political, economic, military, religious and social causes. The spark that led to a mutiny in several sepoy companies was the issue of new gunpowder cartridges for the Enfield rifle in February, 1857. A rumour was spread that the cartridges were made from cow and pig fat

Right to Constitutional remedies
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar called 'Article 32' of the Indian Constitution i.e. Right to Constitutional remedies as 'the heart and soul of the Constitution'. It was acknowledged because mere declaration of the fundamental right without an effective machinery for enforcement of the fundamental rights would have been meaningless.

Collector and District Majistrate is a single post. Collector historically means a Revenue Collector, who ,in addition to his his revenue functions, acted as a general coordinator of the district administration. As a district Majistrate, he exercised the judicial function. Today this function is reduced to powers under a few sections in the CrPC relating to law and order. The DM has also been assigned a significant role under the Indian Police Act of 1861. In the metropolitan cities there is no district Majistrate as these functions are delegated to the police Commissioner. There he is just a collector.

With humans, colonization is sometimes seen as a negative act because it tends to involve an invading culture establishing political control over an indigenous population (the people living there before the arrival of the settlers).
