Bacterial cells are fundamentally different to the cells of multicellular animals such as humans. They are far smaller, with less internal organisation and no nucleus (they have DNA but it is not packaged safely within a membrane).

Vaccines give you immunity to a disease without you getting sick first. They are made using killed or weakened versions of the disease-causing germ or parts of the germ (called antigens). For some vaccines, genetic engineering is used to make the antigens used in the vaccine. It’s much safer to get a vaccine than to get the disease it prevents. When you get a vaccine, your immune system responds to the vaccine the same way it would to the real germ. It: Recognizes the germ in the vaccine as being foreign. Responds by making antibodies to the germ in the vaccine, just as it would for the real germ. Remembers the germ and how to destroy it. That way, if you are ever exposed to the disease-causing germ in the future, your immune system will be able to quickly destroy it before it has a chance to make you sick. This is how you get immunity from vaccines.

Water is one of the mostimportant inputs essential for theproduction of crops. Plants need it continuously during their life and in huge quantities. It profoundly influences photosynthesis, respiration, absorption, translocation and utilization of mineral nutrients, and cell division besides some other processes.

Krish Patel 5 years, 4 months ago

Water is used for transpiration carrier of nutrients from the soil to green plant tissues. Water forms over 90% of the plant body by green or fresh weight basis. Plants can synthesis food through photosynthesis only in the presence of water in their system. Water helps to maintain the turgidity of cell walls.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago

Irrigation is artificial application of water to soil to ensure growth of agricultural crops.

Water is very important for growth of plants as it helps in germination of seeds, absorption of dissolved nutrients, photosynthesis and temperature regulation.

Irrigation is very much needed in India due to irregular distribution of rainfall. If agriculture is left dependent on rains, then it will suffer during the dry seasons of the year.

Mass of girl = 50 kg = 50*10 = 500 N

Area of the heels 2*1 cm2 = 2cm2

Preassure exerted by the girl= 500N/2cm2

500*100*100/2

2500000 pa

Mass of the elephant 5000kg = 5000*10N

Area of feet=4*250cm2

= 4*250/100*100

Preassure exerted by elephant= 5000*10*100*100/4*250

=500000

The girl will exert more preassure than elephant by =(2500000-500000) = 2000000

A force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity, i.e., to accelerate. Force can also be described intuitively as a push or a pull.

Krish Patel 5 years, 4 months ago

Aristotle famously represented a force as anything that causes an object to undergo “unnatural motion”. Sir Isaac Newton was one of the first scientists to study gravity and force. Any kind of force is just a push or a pull. It can be described as a push or pull on an object.

Shaji Menon 5 years, 4 months ago

a push of pull is called force or it arises due to interaction between two objects

Purva Sharma 5 years, 4 months ago

In physics, a force is any interaction that, when unopposed, will change the motion of an object. A force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity, i.e., to accelerate. Force can also be described intuitively as a push or a pull. A force has both magnitude and direction, making it a vector quantity.

Friction- Drag Force Drag force is especially dependent on the speed of an object. As an object's speed increases, the drag force from the fluid increases exponentially. For example, when you drive at high speeds, the frictional force of air on the car increases, and fuel economy decreases

Soybean cyst nematode Soybean cyst nematode (SCN), or Heterodera glycines, is the most destructive pathogen of soybean in North America. Soybean producers in the United States lost more than 300 million bushels to the soybean cyst nematode from 2003 to 2005. More yield is lost to SCN than any other soybean pathogen.

D.pancreas

There are islet cells of Langerhans in the pancreas. The β- cells produce insulin. This hormone is responsible for the regulation of the blood sugar levels. The negative feedback mechanism is used to regulate the synthesis of insulin. When blood glucose levels rise, insulin is secreted by the pancreas. The insulin works by lowering the blood glucose by increasing its uptake in cells. It also helps by stimulating the liver to convert glucose to glycogen, in which form it can be stored. When the level of blood decreases, there is signal send to the cells of the pancreas to stop secreting insulin.

A Reactivity series is an empirical, calculated, and structurally analytical progression of a series of metals, arranged by their "reactivity" from highest to lowest.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 4 months ago

A reactivity series, the most reactiveelement is placed at the top and the least reactive element at the bottom. More reactive metals have a greater tendency to lose electrons and form positive ions. A reactivity series of metals could include any elements.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 4 months ago

In an electrical installation , an earthing system or grounding system connects specific parts of that installation with the Earth's conductive surface for safety and functional purposes. The point of reference is the Earth's conductive surface. Also in a high power handling electrical instruments, metal part of the cabinet is connected to earth by low resistance cables

Earthing is the process of transferring the immediate discharge of electricity directly to the earth plate, by means of low resistance electrical cables or wires. In case of a short circuit due to leakages arising from weak insulation or damage, the earthing wire safely removes excess electricity and passes it on to the ground. Safety to persons operating high power electrical systems is ensured by earthing.
