Excessive or unwanted sounds are called noise. Noise is unpleasant to hear. E.g., Sound produced by a bunch of students speaking together in the classroom.
The sounds which are pleasing to the ears are called music. It gives a soothing effect rather than creating a chaos in mind. E.g., Sound produced by a harmonium sound.

- Milk is a good conductor of electricity because it contains water and lactic acids and other salts.
- Pure water does not conduct electricity, but naturally occurring water (rain water, tap water etc) contain salts (ions) dissolved in it and this makes it a good conductor of electricity
- Soda compounds (a common name for chemicals mostly containing sodium) contain ions when dissolved in water and ions help conduct electricity.

Lysosomes are cellular organelles that contain digestive enzymes that break down waste materials, foreign material and cellular debris. Lysosomes are capable of digesting nucleic acid, polysaccharides, fats, and proteins. Along with them lysosomes also digest or damage its own cells by its own enzymes, which lead to cell death. This process is called as autolysis. Hence lysosomes are also called as suicide bags

1. Both plant cell and animal cell is Eukaryotic (with true nucleus or genetic material surrounded by a membrane).
2. Both plant cell and animal cell possess cell membrane or plasma membrane which regulates the movement of substances between the cell and the surroundings. (In animal cells, cell membrane is the outermost boundary where as in plant cell, cell membrane is present just inner to cell wall)
3. Both plant cell and animal cell possess a well defined nucleus and cytoplasm, where genetic material DNA is surrounded by a nuclear membrane.
4. Most of the organelles like nucleus, mitochondrion, Golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum etc are present in both plant cell and animal cell.
5. In both plants and animals cells, DNA is double stranded and complexed with histone proteins and proteins are synthesized by ribosomes in the cytoplasm.

A chemical fertiliser is a salt or an organic compound containing the necessary plant nutrient like nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium to make the soil more fertile. They provide quick replenishment of plant nutrients in the soil and restores soil fertility.
For examples: :Urea, ammonium sulphate, superphosphate, potash, NPK.

Physical properties of metal
- Metals are solid except mercury that is found in liquid state at room temperature.
- They are hard and tough except sodium and potassium that can be cut with a knife.
- They are lustrous i.e. they shine in light because metals possess free electrons that vibrates on getting in contact with light.
- They have high melting points except caesium and gallium have very low melting point.
- They are good conductors of heat and electricity. The best conductors of electricity are silver and copper whereas lead and mercury are comparatively poor conductors.
Physical properties of non-metals
- Non-metals may be either solids, liquids or gases.
- Solid non-metals are brittle and break down into powdery mass on striking with a hammer except diamond which is the hardest non-metal.
- They have a dull luster but iodine is lustorous.
- They have low melting points except diamond that has very high melting point.
- They are poor conductors of heat and electricity except graphite.
- They are not malleable.
- They are not ductile.
- They are not sonorous.

The metal reeds which are connected to the frame of the harmonium are the vibrating parts of the harmonium. Harmonium is one of the most used musical instruments in the classical Indian music genre. In Manjira the whole body vibrates. In Ghatam vibrations are transferred through the saddle and bridge (the parts that connect the strings to the body) into the body wood which creates the acoustics and amplify the sound. Ektara is the strings which when set in motion produces sound. harmonium is the metal frames within that vibrate causing its sound.

A water body is said to be polluted when toxic substances damage it, making it undrinkable and also dangerous for organisms to live in it. Harmful substances like sewage, silt, toxic - chemicals and domestic waste are called water pollutants. They spoil the quality of water by altering its smell and colour and render it unfit for drinking.
