Answer: Cotton is made up of natural polymer namely cellulose.
Explanation : A synthetic fibre is made of small units which are joined together. These units are made of chemical substances. Such small units combine to form a large single unit called a polymer. Hence, a polymer is made of many repeating units. Polymers also occur in nature. For example, cotton is a natural polymer which is made from the cellulose. Cellulose is made up of a large number of glucose units.

They are positively charged | They are neutral | They are negatively charged |
They are present in the nucleus of all atoms | They are present in the nucleus of all atoms except hydrogen | They are present in the outer shells within an atom and orbit the positively charged nucleus in well-defined orbits |
The mass of the proton is taken as one unit and equals the mass of a neutron | The mass of the neutron is considered as one unit and it equals the mass of a proton | The mass of an electron is about 1/2000 times the mass of a hydrogen atom |
A proton is represented as “p” | A neutron is represented as “n” | An electron is represented as “e” |

Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. Cell is a structural and functional unit of living organisms.
Cells may be compared to bricks. Bricks are assembled to make a building. Similarly, cells are assembled to make the body of every organism. All organisms are made up of cells.
All basic chemical and physiological functions of living beings – for example, repair, growth, movement, immunity, communication, and digestion etc are carried out inside the cells.

Carbon and tars are black because light that we can see cannot pass through, and light that hits the coal mostly does not get reflected. Instead the coal takes up the light and grows warmer. So we see very little light from the coal, and this makes it look black.
