Balanced forces will cause no change in the speed of an object. Unbalanced forces are not equal, and they always cause the motion of an object to change the speed and/or direction that it is moving.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

Balanced forces will cause no change in the speed of an object.

  • Balanced forces acting on an object in opposite directions and equal in strength, as shown in the arrows below, do not cause a change in the speed of a moving object.
  • Objects that are not moving will not start moving if acted on by balanced forces.

For example, in arm wrestling where there is no winner, the force exerted by each person is equal, but they are pushing in opposite directions. The resulting force (net force) is zero.

Unbalanced forces are not equal, and they always cause the motion of an object to change the speed and/or direction that it is moving.

  • When two unbalanced forces are exerted in opposite directions, their combined force is equal to the difference between the two forces.
  • The magnitude and direction of the net force affects the resulting motion

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that has numerous applications. The well-known brand name of PTFE-based formulas is Teflon by Chemours. ... PTFE has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. PTFE is used as a non-stick coating for pans and other cookware.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

Teflon is a special kind of plastic on which oil and water do not stick and because of this property teflon is used for non-stick coating on cookwares for preparing non-stick cookwares.

Teflon is a registered trademark of the Chemours company (formerly DuPont) which it uses for its range of fluoropolymers, the best known of which is polytetrafluoroethylene.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

“Polyethylene terephthalate is a condensation polymer of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid.” The by-product of the reaction to create this compound is water so it is an example of condensation or step-growth polymerization.
Polyethylene terephthalate which is also abbreviated as PET / PETE is mainly used to manufacture the packaging material for food products such as fruit and drinks containers. It is lightweight, transparent and also available in some colour. It is a member of the ester family so also called as polyester. It is a recyclable thermoplastic polymer with good strength, ductility, stiffness and hardness, therefore, can be processed through vacuum forming, injection moulding, compression moulding and blow moulding.

A sperm's tail is whip like i.e. very long and slender. This structure helps to propel the sperm forward in a snake like motion through the energy produced by the 'midpiece'. Otherwise all of the sperms would move laterally or in repetitive circles, thus making it impossible for any of them to enter the egg, hence a baby being born.

Earthing is that which comes from ground when electricity conduct in ground ?

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 2 months ago

Earthing is the process of connecting the exposed metal parts of an electrical circuit to the ground
Usually an electric appliance such as a heater, an iron box, etc. are fitted with all the three wires namely live, neutral and earth. The earth wire is connected to the metallic body of the appliance. This is done to avoid accidental shock. Suppose due to some defect, the insulation of the live wire inside an electric iron is burnt then the live wire may touch the metallic body of the iron.

When the iron box is in use, the metallic body will also be increased to 110V. If we accidentally come in contact with such a metallic body we are sure to get an electric shock. If the earth wire is properly connected to the metallic body it protects us from an electric shock.

Diseases causing microorganisms is called pathogens

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

A pathogen is simply defined as a tiny living organism that is a carrier of diseases in a host. Pathogens need a host body for surviving and when it enters a host, it avoids the immune responses of the host. Instead, the pathogen utilizes the host body’s resources to replicate before exiting and spreading to a new host.

Plastics are non corrosive in nature i) they dont react with the things kept in them ii) they dont react with water and air which are necessary for corrosion iii) they are non biodegradable. They cannot be decomposed by microorganisms.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

Plastics are non-corrosive in nature, they do not react even if they come in contact with strong chemicals. For example, the cleaning chemicals that we use at home are stored in plastic bottles, instead of metal containers.

Plastic, polymeric material that has the capability of being molded or shaped, usually by the application of heat and pressure. This property of plasticity, often found in combination with other special properties such as low density, low electrical conductivity, transparency, and toughness, allows plastics to be made into a great variety of products. These include tough and lightweight beverage bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), flexible garden hoses made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), insulating food containers made of foamed polystyrene, and shatterproof windows made of polymethyl methacrylate.

Preparation of soil: Soil is prepared before sowing the seeds. The soil is loosened to increase the absorption of water and manures. Loosening of soil particles adds humus and nutrients in the soil that increases crop yields. Tilling or loosening the soil is done by ploughs which are pulled by a pair of bulls. Tractor driven cultivators are also used to loosen the soil.

Then based on the season, I would start cultivation on the land.

Cultivation of Kharif or Rabi crop shall depend on the existing season existing.

Before sowing seeds, the land must be made weed free from the grasses and other weeds roots then it must be watered properly.

The land must be ploughed thoroughly so as the layers of soil must be mixed so that the soil will be rich

Let us take 5 beakers.

  • In beaker A Zn being more reactive than copper replaces copper from the solution of copper sulphate and forms zinc sulphate.

CuSO4 + Zn --> ZnSO4 + Cu

  • In beaker B iron being more reactive than copper replaces it from its solution and forms iron sulphate.

  CuSO4 + Fe --> FeSO4 + Cu

  • In beaker C there would be no reaction as less reactive metal (copper) cannot displace more reactive metal (zinc) from its solution.
  • In beaker D there would be no reaction as less reactive metal (copper) cannot displace more reactive metal (iron) from its solution.
  • In beaker E there would be no reaction as less reactive metal (iron) cannot displace more reactive metal (zinc) from its solution.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 2 months ago

proton is one of three main particles that make up the atom. The other two particles are the neutron and electron. Protons are found in the nucleus of the atom. This is a tiny, dense region at the center of the atom. Protons have a positive electrical charge of one (+1) and a mass of 1 atomic mass unit (amu), which is about 1.67 × 10-27 kilograms. Together with neutrons, they make up virtually all of the mass of an atom.

Anti biotics are medicianes which is used to diffrent types oc disease

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 2 months ago

Antibiotics are antimicrobial drugs obtained from other organisms (such as moulds, fungus and some soil bacteria) to combat harmful microorganisms. However, they are not very useful against certain microbes such as viruses.

Antibiotics are produced on a large scale by the fermentation process. This is a chemical process which is induced by the microorganisms in a large tank. A large tank contains the growth medium that provides the nutrition for the microorganism’s growth. Optimization of temperature, pH levels, oxygen and nutrient parameter in the fermentation tank is very crucial to producing antibiotics. After the completion of antibiotics production, they are extracted and purified through multiple physical processes. Finally, the purified antibiotics are converted into crystal form.
