A = 7 as 7 + 5 = 12. We want 2 at units place and 1 is carry over. Now 3 + 2 + 1 = 6
B = 6
Hence A = 7 and B = 6

If the value of a variable x always increases or decreases with the respective increase or decrease in value of variable y, then it is said that the variables x and y are in direct proportion.
For example : In the table below, we have variable y – Cost (in Rs) always increasing when there is an increase in variable x – Weight of sugar (in kg). Likewise if the weight of sugar reduced, the cost would also reduce. Hence the two variables are in direct proportion.

A rectangle is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles.
From this definition, you can prove that the opposite sides are parallel and of the same lengths. A rectangle can be tall and thin, short and fat or all the sides can have the same length.
Definition: A square is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles and all four sides of the same length.
So a square is a special kind of rectangle, it is one where all the sides have the same length. Thus every square is a rectangle because it is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles. However not every rectangle is a square, to be a square its sides must have the same length.l

Given:-
Volume of the cylinder = 1.54m³
Diametre of the base = 140cm
Radius of the base = 140/2
= 70cm
= 0.7m
Volume of cylinder = πr²h
1.54 = 22/7*0.7²*h
1.54*7/22*0.7*0.7 = h
h = 1
Height = 1m Ans.
Ans.) The height of the cylinder is 1m.

Example:
Add 5xy – 3x2 – 12y +5x, xy – 3x – 12yz +5x3 and y – 6x2 – zy +5x3
Solution:
For adding these three algebraic expressions the like terms are grouped together and added as shown below.

Arrange the terms of the given expressions in the same order.
Subtraction of Algebraic Expressions
For subtracting two or more algebraic expressions, it’s a better practice to write the expressions to be subtracted below the expression from which it is to be subtracted from. Like terms are placed below each other. The sign of each term which is to be subtracted is reversed and then the resulting expression is added normally.
Example:
Subtract x2y –2x2 -zy + 5 and –3x2 +3x3 from y3 +3x2y –6x2 -6zy +7x3
Solution:
The like terms of the expressions x2y – 2x2 – zy + 5 and – 3x2 + 3x3 are written below the like terms of the expression y3 +3x2y – 6x2 – 6zy + 7x3.

For adding two or more algebraic expression the like terms of both the expressions are grouped together. The coefficients of like terms are added together using simple addition techniques and the variable which is common is retained as it is. The, unlike terms, are retained as it is and the result obtained is the addition of two or more algebraic expressions.
Example:
Add 5xy – 3x2 – 12y +5x, xy – 3x – 12yz +5x3 and y – 6x2 – zy +5x3

(i) x+100=180 [Adjacent angles]
x=80
z=x=80∘ [opposite angles are equal]
y=100∘
(ii) 50+y=180
y=130∘
x=y=130∘ and z=x=130∘ (corresponding angles)
(iii) x=90∘ (vertically opposite angles)
x+y+30=180∘
y=180−120=60∘
z=y=60∘ (Alternate angles)
(iv) z=80,y=80 (Opposite angles)
x+y=180∘,x=180−80⇒x=100∘
(v) y=112∘ (opposite angles)
x+y+40=180∘ (Angle sum property)
x=180−152
x=28∘
z=x=28∘ (Alternate angles)

Answer:
24 sides
Step-by-step explanation:
A polygon is any two dimensional shape formed with the straight lines. Triangles, pentagons, quadrilaterals, and hexagons are all examples of the polygons. The name itself tells as to how many sides the shape has. For example, a triangle has three sides, whereas a quadrilateral has four sides.
Thus, when the regular polygon have if each of its interior angle is 165° then,
The corresponding exterior angle must be 180-165 = 15°
The sum of ALL the exterior angles is 360°
Sides of exterior angles is 360/15 = 24
Therefore the number of sides a regular polygon will have is 24

Find the total surface area of 1 box:
Total surface area = 2( 90x50 + 50x35 + 35x90) = 18800 cm²
Find the total surface area of 50 boxes:
1 box = 18800 cm²
50 boxes = 18800 x 50 = 940000 cm²
Find the length of the sheet needed:
Length = 940000 ÷ 94 = 10000 cm = 100 m
Answer: 100 m

Time taken by A to complete a work = x days
Time taken by B to complete the same work = 2x days
According to the question,
1/ x + 1/ 2x=1/12
=> 3/2x=1/12
x=3×12/ 2
Time taken by B to complete the same work = 2x=2×18 =36days

d1= 45cm , d2= 30cm
Number of tiles= 3000
Rate per m²= ₹4
Area of Rhombus= 1/2×d1×d2
= (1/2) × 45 × 30=675
Area of 1 tile= 675 cm² = 675/10000 m²
Area of 3000 tiles= 3000 × (675/10000)
[1cm²= 1/10000m²]
cost of Polishing the floor
= Total Area × rate
= (3000 × 675 ×4)/10000
= 3× 675×4/10
= 3× 67.5×4
= 12× 67.5
= ₹ 810
Hence the total cost of polishing the floor = ₹ 810
