Let the present age of son be x.
Present age of father=4x.
Now,
Ten year hence his father age will be 3 times his son.
A/q
4x + 10 = 3(x + 10)
4x + 10 = 3x + 30
4x - 3x = 30 - 10
x = 20
So,
Son age is=20 years
And father age is=4×20=80 years

Between every two real numbers (in particular between two irrational numbers) these are rational numbers (in fact infinitely many of them). Depending on which definition of real numbers you are using, this is more or less obvious. For example, if you define real numbers as equivalence classes of rational Cauchy sequences it is clear that the rational number are dense in R.  Eg. Let ba and dc be any rational numbers with positive denominators, where ba<dc Then ba<b+da+c<dc
