Here a= 60cm,b=45 cm,c=32 cm

volume of wood required  =  surface area x thickness

SA=2(ab+bc+ca)

=2( 60x45+45x32+32x60)

=2(2700+1440+1920)

=2x6060=12120 sq cm

Volume of woof=12120 x2.5 =30300 cm cube

Inner walls of the the box

a=60-2x2.5=55 cm b=45-5=40 cm c=32-5=27 cm

volume or capacity= abc=55 x 40x27=59400 cm cube

One side rhombus = 13 cm
Length of one diagonal = 10 cm
Property to use: diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at 90 degree
taking 1/4 portion of rhombus (triangle)
base = 5 cm (half of diagonal)
hypotnuse = 13 cm
for perpendicular use pythagoras theorem
h2 = b2 + p2
on putting the values in the equation and then solving it we get perpendicular(p)= 12cm
therefore diagonal = 2p= 24cm

Let the common multiple is x
Then angle of quadrilateral are 2x, 3x, 6x and 7x
Sum of angles of quadrilateral = 360°
2x + 3x + 6x + 7x = 360°
18x = 360°
x = 360/18
x = 20°
Angles 2(20) = 40°
3x = 3(20) = 60°
6x = 6(20) = 120°
7x = 7(20) = 140°

3x-2y=5-----------------------(1)

-2x +3y=3--------------------(2)

Adding (1) and (2) we get

3x-2x-2y+3y=5+3

or x+y=8

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 11 months ago

3x - 2y = 5 ...... (i)
3y - 2x = 3
-2x + 3y = 3 ........ (ii)
Add (i) and (ii)
 3x - 2y = 5
-2x + 3y = 3
___________
x + y = 8
