Sea levels are not 'equal around the world,' because of variations produced by currents, winds, water density and temperature. Sea levels are in fact rising as a result of AGW, partly because of melting continental ice, and partly through expansion due to increased temperature.
The mean sea level globally has being rising steadily for some decades now. Among the main reasons are melting ice and thermal expansion. These are manifestations of increased heat in the system, or Global Warming.
