In the story “A gift of chappals” written by Vasantha Surya, Ravi is a young boy who is kind-hearted and compassionate. This can be known through his deed throughout the story. He gets home an abandoned kitten even though the people at his home might not agree to keep it. He secretly keeps the kitten and feeds him with milk, all in secret. He is a loving and caring boy. He loves to have friends. He is very sharp and intelligent in the field of history.
He is a generous person filled with humanity. His generosity and humanity can be proved by the way he wanted to help the beggar who had no chapels and whose feet might get burnt in under the hot sun.
As a whole, he is generous, intelligent and compassionate — the qualities anybody would love to find in a person.

The poet said the squirrel “ wore a question mark for tail ” because the shape of the tail of squirrel sitting on the ground looks very similar to question mark .

Mildred Bowers Armstrong
In the poem 'The Squirrel' the poet Mildred Bowers Armstrong describes a squirrel that he observes in his garden. The poet describes how the squirrel, covered in gray fur, sits in an upright position on a tree branch eating a nut. His tail looks like a question mark because of its bent shape.

In Saki's "The Seven Cream Jugs," Wilfred Pigeoncote has recently been named as heir to the title of baron and a large sum of money. As a result, Mrs. Peter Pigeoncote comments that upon his recent improvements, Wilfred will most likely not pay a visit to her and her husband. Mr. Pigeoncote believes this to be true because in the past he and his wife have not done much in extending an invitation to Wilfred. Their reason for not encouraging Wilfred to visit is because they are aware that he has an "unpleasant reputation" of being a kleptomaniac. Mr. and Mrs. Pigeoncote are celebrating their twenty-fifth anniversary, which means it is customary for them to receive gifts of silver. With many valuable pieces of silver currently in the house, a visit from a kleptomaniac could be problematic. As it turns out, they do receive a visit from Wilfred. However, it is not the Wilfred known as the "Snatcher."
