    Mitosis means 2 daughter cell Meiosis means 4 daughter cell

    Mitosis is division of cell into 2 daughter cells and meiosis is division of cell into 4 daughter cells. Ploidy level does not change in mitosis but ploidy level change from 2n to n in meiosis.
