6/5×-1/12+6/5×12/1 =6/5(-1/12+12/1)[6/5 is repeated two times hence it has taken as common] [distributive property] =6/5(-1×1+12×12/12)[as the denominator taken LCM 12] =6/5(-1+144/12)[sum the numerator numbers] =6/5(143/12)[taken bracket means the use of multiplication] =6/5×143/42[now do the cross multiple] =1/5×143/7[multiply accordingly] =1×143/5×7 =143/35 =4whole3/35
