Nucleus also known as brain of cell. It is bounded by double membrane is called nuclear membrane. It contains raw material etc.Nucleus is in the centre of cell.It is a dark coloured spherical or oral or dot line structure near the centre of the cell called nucleus the nucleus play the central role in cellular activities the chromatic material get organised into chromosomes the chromosomes contains information for inheritance of features from parents to next generation in the form of DNA (deoxyribo nucleic acid) and protein molecules the functional segment of DNA are called genes.
