Because the radius of earth is maxium on the poles

Since, acceleration due to gravity is directly proportional to earth's gravity. Therefore where there is more gravity more acceleration due to gravity will be there. Based on Geographic conditions of Earth as earth is spherical.... And also Equator is more nearer to the centre of the earth hence minimum acceleration due to gravity {since, gravity at centre of earth= 0} Same for poles . As the poles are far away from earth's centre {Here g= 9.8ms^-2} gravity would be more of course.. Therefore maximum acceleration due to gravity and no other place is such far to earth's centre as the poles.

Good question,, Answer as follows÷ Since, acceleration due to gravity is directly proportional to earth's gravity. Therefore where there is more gravity more acceleration due to gravity will be there. Based on Geographic conditions of Earth as earth is spherical.... And also Equator is more nearer to the centre of the earth hence minimum acceleration due to gravity {since, gravity at centre of earth= 0} Same for poles . As the poles are far away from earth's centre {Here g= 9.8ms^-2} gravity would be more of course.. Therefore maximum acceleration due to gravity and no other place is such far to earth's centre as the poles.. {To be remembered equation ÷ Acceleration due to gravity is directly proportional to gravity The more gravity more acceleration due to gravity and vice versa}
