A/Q. Since height is given Therefore we can say that Ek. = Ep. ..... @eq.1 Let's calculate Ep. Ep. = mgh = m × 9.8 m/s^2 × 1m = m × 9.8 m/s^2 From eq 1) Ep. = 1Joule 1= m × 9.8m/s^2 m = 1/ 9.8m/s^2 On furthermore calculations... m= 0.102 kg If required convert mass in kg to g. m = 102 grams. Hope it helps!! Thank you

The kinetic energy will be comverted into its potential energy when it reaches its max height, therefore we can equate the potential energy with kinetic energy

Kinetic energy = potential energy

1J = mgh

1 = m × 9.8 ×1

m = 1/9.8

m = 0.1020 kg = 102 gram
