Volume of rectangular tank =l×b×h =80×50×h=4000hm3 (where 'h' is height of tank) Average displacement of water by a person =0.04m3 ∴ Average displace of water by 500 person =0.4×500=20m3 Rise in water tank ⇒4000h=20 ⇒h=2001 ⇒h=.005m ⇒h=.005×100cm=0.5cm
