d) FSH and LH. (Prior to ovulation, the egg cell is developed from oogonial cell through different stages of follicular development. The FSH or follicle stimulating hormone is what helps in the formation and ensures the uninterrupted development of these ovarian follicles. As the secondary oocyte in the Graafian follicle proceeds towards ovulation, LH or Luteinizing hoone is released which hastens the rupture of the Graafian follicle to release the ovum out into the fimbriae and leads to the formation of Corpus luteum, the formation of which was the prime requirement of the LH.)
