Change in colour of copper sulphate occurs when an iron Nail is leaved in the copper sulphate solution for a time. The colour change happens from Blue to green. Equation for this Copper sulphate (blue)+ iron becomes iron sulphate (green)+ copper (brown deposit)

When an iron nail immersed in the solution of copper sulphate than iron displaces copper from the solution of copper sulphate because iron is more reactive than copper. Therefore copper sulphate solution colour changes from blue to pale green.
