The mode of nutrition in which organisms make the food by their own is called autotrophic. Auto=self, trophs=nourishment. The mode of nutrition in which organisms depend on others indirectly or directly for their food is called heterotrophic.hetro=others, trophs=nourishment. I hope this answer will help you
