8:3=8+3=11. 8/12*143=104. 3/11*143=39

Let the two numbers are in the ratio of 8:3 Ist no. - 8x 2nd no.- 3x ATQ. 8x+3x= 143 11x= 143 X= 143/11 x= 13 Hence, 1st no.= 8x 8*13= 104 2nd no.= 3x 3*13= 39
