Dieses Gedicht wird aus dem Englischen ins Deutsche übersetzt. Es war einmal ein sprechender Ventilator – Elektrisch, sein Geschwätz. Ich konnte nicht ganz hören, was er sagte, und ich hoffe, es spielt keine Rolle, weil eines Tages jemand seinen kleinen wirbelnden Motor ölte und all das Geheimnis verdorben war – er lief so still wie Wasser.
