Since x and y are inversely proportional, we know that y= x Constant ⇒xy=Constant ⇒8×Y 1 =16×5 ⇒8Y 1 =80 ⇒Y 1 = 8 80 =10 Now, ⇒X 1 ×4=16×5 ⇒4X 1 =80 ⇒X 1 = 4 80 =20 Now, ⇒X 2 ×2=16×5 ⇒2X 2 =80 ⇒X 2 = 2 80 =40 Now, ⇒80×Y 2 =16×5 ⇒80Y 2 =80 ⇒Y 2 = 80 80 =1 ∴X 1 =20,X 2 =40,Y 1 =10,Y 2 =1
