Let , There are total passengers = x At station A 30% of x ,got down =30x/100 = 3x/10 At B 70% of remaining =70/100 × 3x/10 = 21x/100 Given, it's = 1050 So, 21x/100 =1050 21x = 1050×100 X = 5000
