Yes it evokes 5he feeling for my mother . As the poet in the poem tries to express her love for her mother and her childhood feat of losing her mother . This is something common in every human that the one he love the most , he don't wanna lose him. Yeah the poem evokes the feeling that I should love and respect my a as one day I too am going to lose her .
