Scarcity means demand of a commodity is more than supply of a commodity . Its occurs because resources are limited , humans wants are unlimited and resources have alternative uses.

Scarcity means when the supply is less for a commodity but the demand is more ..Like we can take the example of oxygen cylinders their demand is more but the supply is less .. Hope so u vl understand by this ...
